Not bad for your first title! I thought your jump scares were well-timed and fairly fun. I did read the newspaper to get a full grasp on the story, but don't be afraid to show your story rather than tell! This game could have been made a little longer by having the events occur over several nights, where the hero relives those past events through a series of playable nightmares.

The game's ok for a first time. Especially for being self taught. Major props on that. Going forward, I would work more on atmosphere and unique jumpscares (if you use them). But overall, it's not bad.
